Meetings the 3rd Tuesday of the month

Council decided to be more connected to church ministries at Grace.  Council wants more awareness of their vibrance, challenges, and when congregational support is needed.    

 

Discussed additional church signage.  This topic has been on our agenda for a long time.  It was decided to gather as much logistic and cost information on the topic and evaluate its worthiness to bring to congregation’s attention.

 

Council has been looking at the church constitution and bylaws.  We are consolidating input presented to or created from council.  Once done, evaluating we need to pursue updates and clarity.  Constitutional changes are a process taking time and attention by our congregation.

 

Several thoughts, presented to the council, were discussed.  Some being long term issues for further discussion some and action plans were decided for others.  One decision was to have pre–Annual Meeting informational meetings for the congregation.  The first one will be a discussion of the budget, the second will be a more open agenda on other Annual Meeting topics.  Look for coming announcements.
